EXPEDITIONS

The Open Award Group operate Silver level expeditions both The Shore Open Award Unit and Ancrum Outdoor Centre Open Award Unit. All expeditions meet the requirement for a self sufficient event over three days - but a range of trips are on offer, including walking, cycling and canoeing. Likewise the expedition locations also vary from Lochs in Central Scotland, to small islands off the west coast.

Silver Explorations:

Each year the Ancrum Outdoor Centre Open Award Unit operates a silver Exploration on the Isle of Kerrera, where miles of walking are switched for other activities including film-making or surveying click here to find out more
